Airband Communications Inc., a Dallas-based provider of fixed-wireless voice and data services to businesses, has raised $20 million in growth equity funding from ABRY Partners. The company previously raised over $73 million in VC funding from M/C Venture Partners, Sevin Rosen Funds, Crescendo Ventures, Key Venture Partners and Dolphin Equity Partners. www.airband.com

Elevator Labs, a Los Angeles-based tech incubator formed by ex-Virgin Digital executives Zack Zalon and Brendon Cassidy, has raised $20 million in first-round funding from Chicago-based KGC Capital(f.k.a. KVG Partners). www.elevatorlabs.com

iXiGO.com, an Indian travel search engine, has raised $18.5 million in VC funding from SAIF Partnersand MakeMyTrip Ltd. www.ixigo.com

Yaupon Therapeutics Inc., a Malvern, Penn.-based drug company whose first candidate focuses on early-stage mycosis fungoides has raised $14.4 million in Series D funding. Cedexis, a Portland, Ore.-based provider of community-based cloud performance monitoring and optimization solutions, has raised $6 million in new VC funding from Madrona Capital Group andAdvanced Technology Ventureswww.cedexis.com

Opinionaided, a New York-based question-and-answer site, has raised $4.3 million in Series A funduing. SoftBank Capital and BlueRun Ventures co-led the round, and were joined by seed backers like General Catalyst Partners, Draper Fisher Jurvetson and ENIAC Ventures. www.opinionaided.com

AliveCor, a San Francisco-based maker of mobile apps for electrocardiogram monitoring, has raised $3 million in Series A funding. Backers include Burrill & Company, Qualcomm Ventures and the Oklahoma Life Sciences Fund. www.alivecor.com

Grant Victor, a Kaysville, Utah-based provider of ATM services, has raised an undisclosed amount of VC funding from Endeavour Capitalwww.grantvictor.com

eMeter Inc., a San Mateo, Calif.-based provider of smart grid management software, is in the processing of raising between $15 and $30 million in Series E funding, according to VentureWire. The company previously raised over $44.5 million from firms like Sequoia Capital and Foundation Capital.www.emeter.com

Zulily, a Seattle-based private-sale shopping site for children's items, has raised $43 million in Series C funding. Meritech Capital Partners led the round, and was joined by return backers August Capital and Maveron LLC. www.zuilily.com

 Enobia Pharma Inc., a Montreal-based developer of therapeutics for serious bone disorders, has raised US$40 million in new VC funding. Backers include CTI Life Sciences Fund, Desjardins Venture Capital, Kirchner Investment Management Corp., OrbiMed Advisors, T2C2 and The Solidarity Fund QFL.www.enobia.com

ISGN Corp., a Bensalem, Penn.–based provider of end-to-end tech services for the U.S. mortgage market, has raised $30 million in new VC funding. Return backers include New Enterprise Associates, IndoUS Venture Partners and CFCL Overseas Ltd. www.isgn.com

AppFog, a Portland, Ore.-based provider of cloud-based PHP PaaS hosting service, has raised $8 million in Series B funding. Ignition Partners led the round, and was joined by return backers Madrona Venture Group, First Round Capital and Founders Co-Op. Verinata Health Inc., a San Carlos, Calif.-based maternal and fetal healthcare company whose first product is a non-invasive prenatal diagnostic test, has raised $46.5 million in Series C funding. Return backers include Mohr Davidow Ventures, Sutter Hill Ventures and Alloy Ventures. The company also said it plans to tack on another $2 million by month's end. www.verinata.com

Groupalia, a Barcelona-based group purchaser that offers daily discount coupons to users, has raised $26 million in new VC funding. Return backers include La Caixa and Nauta Capital. The company previously raised €7.5 million. www.groupalia.com

Trendyol.com, a Turkish fashion e-commerce company, has raised $26 million in VC funding fromKleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and return backer Tiger Global. The deal represents Kleiner Perkins' first investment in Turkey. www.trendyol.com

Couchbase, a Mountain View, Calif.-based NoSQL database company, has raised $14 million in Series C funding. Ignition Partners led the round, and was joined by return backers Accel Partners, Mayfield Fund, and North Bridge Venture Partners. MovieClips.com, a Venice, Calif.-based online library of licensed movie clips, has raised $7 million in Series B funding led by MK Capitalwww.movieclips.com

Second Genome Inc., a San Francisco-based microbiome company, has raised $5 million in Series A funding. Advanced Technology Ventures and Morgenthaler Ventures co-led the round, and were joined by return backers like Wavepoint Ventures and Seraph Group. www.secondgenome.com

High Street Partners, an Annapolis, Md.-based provider of shared service centers, has raised $6.3 million in Series C funding. Baird Venture Partners led the round, and was joined by return backer sigma Partners and Gold Hill Capital. www.hsp.com

GreenSQL, a provider of a database firewall engine, has raised $2.1 million in additional Series B funding. The round now stands at $5.9 million. Rhodium and Atlantic Capital Partners led the extension, with participation from return backer Magma Venture Partners. www.greensql.com

SinglePlatform, a New York-based provider of a one-stop digital portal for local businesses to manage their web presence, has raised $3.25 million in new VC funding. DFJ Gotham Ventures led the round, and was joined by New World Ventures and return backers First Round Capital and RRE Ventures.www.singleplatform.com
Nanigans Inc., a Boston-based provider of social ad delivery solutions, has raised $3 million in Series A funding led by Avalon Ventureswww.nanigans.com

eSolar, a Pasadena, Calif.-based developer of solar thermal power technology, has raised an undisclosed amount of strategic funding from GE Energy. The deal is part of a larger licensing agreement with GE. eSolar previously raised more than $130 million from firms like Idealab, Oak Investment Partners and Google.org. www.esolar.com

Livio Radio, a Detroit-based maker of car Internet radio products , has raised an undisclosed amount of venture debt financing from Western Technology Investment. It previously raised VC funding from Beringea LLC. www.livioradio.com

Bloomspot, a San Francisco-based flash-sale site focused on luxury hotels, restaurants and spas, has raised $40 million in Series B funding. InterWest Partners and Columbia Capital co-led the round, and were joined by return backers True Ventures, Menlo Ventures and Harrison Metal. The company raised a $9 million Series A round last September. www.bloomspot.com

HotLink Corp., a Sunnyvale, Calif.-based provider of system management solutions for heterogeneous computing, has raised $10 million in Series A funding. Foundation Capital led the round, and was joined by Leapfrog Ventures. HotLink was founded last year by Lynn LeBlanc, who previously founded FastScale Technology (acquired by EMC). www.hotlink.com

ChallengePost, a New York-based online platform for running competitions, has raised $4.1 million in Series A funding. Opus Capital led the round, and was joined by Betaworks, Richmond Park Partners and individual angels. www.challengepost.com

SCI Solutions, a Campbell, Calif.-based provider of enterprise access management and revenue management software for physicians, has raised an undisclosed amount of VC funding from Wicks Group of Cos. and New Enterprise Associateswww.scisolutions.com

MONDAY, AUGUST 8

Quirky Inc., a New York-based operator of a social product design platform, has raised $16 million in Series B funding, according to VentureWire. Norwest Venture Partners led the round, and was joined by return backer RRE Ventures. www.quirky.com

Lumenpulse Inc., a Montreal-based maker of LED lighting solutions for commercial, institutional, and urban environments, has raised US$16 million in Series A equity and debt funding. No investor information on the equity was disclosed, while Silicon Valley Bank provided the debt.www.lumenpulse.com

Prizm Payment Services, an India-based provider of electronic payment solutions, has raised $8 million in new VC funding from existing backer Sequoia Capital Indiawww.prizmpayments.com

Acutus, a San Diego-based developer of electrophysiological mapping technology for the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias, has raised $1 million in new VC funding from Index Ventures.www.acutusmedical.com
