Chicago Growth Partners has sponsored a recapitalization of Teaching Strategies Inc., a Bethesda, Md.–based provider of early childhood educational resources. No financial terms were disclosed. www.cgp.com

Palm Beach Capital
has invested an undisclosed amount in Unitrans International Corp., a Los Angeles-based international freight forwarder and customs broker. www.unitrans-us.com

Platinum Equity has agreed to acquire DMS Health Technologies, a provider of diagnostic imaging solutions to medical facilities, from Otter Tail Corp. (Nasdaq: OTTR). The deal was valued at $30 million in cash. www.DMSHealthTechnologies.com

Riverside Partners has agreed to invest an undisclosed amount in Park IP Translations, a New York-based patent translations company. The deal is being done via Riverside portfolio company Welocalize. www.parkip.com
