Bridgelux, a Livermore, Calif.-based provider of LED lighting technologies, has raised $25 million in strategic funding from Kaistar Lighting (Xiamen) Co. It previously raised around $185 million in VC funding, from Craton Equity Partners,VantagePoint Capital Partners, DCM, El Dorado Ventures, Novus Energy Partners, Invus Group, VTS, Harris & Harris Group and Passport Capital. www.bridgelux.com

IM+, a mobile messaging service for the Russian market, has raised $10 million in VC funding from Finam. www.finamcapital.com

Novinda Corp., a Denver-based developer of a non-carbon reagent for mercury emission control in coal-fired power plants, has raised $6 million in Series C funding co-led by New Venture Partners and Altira Group. www.novinda.com

Pearltrees, a Paris-based social curation startup, has raised €5 million in new VC funding led by return backer The Group Accueil. www.pearltrees.com
