Borderfree, an ecommerce company in Canada, has been acquired by FiftyOne, a company that helps online retailers expand operations internationally. www.fiftyone.com

Monster Worldwide, the online jobs site, has announced that it is exploring a possible sale of the company, the New York Times reports.

Recycling Services, a Chicago-based recycling company, has been acquired by Waste Management. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. www.wm.com.

Asahi, a Japanese brewing company, is the frontrunner to buy the European brewer StarBev, Reuters reports. A deal could generate up to $3 billion for CVC Capital partners, which bought StarBev from Anheuser-Busch in 2009.

MBK Partners, a Korean private equity firm, will sell its majority stake in Luye Pharma Group to a group of three Chinese private equity firms -- CDH Capital, Citic Private Equity, and New Horizon Capital -- the Wall Street Journal reports.  Terms of the deal were not disclosed.rs. www.myinsight.com

Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (NYSE: AMD) has agreed to acquire SeaMicro Inc., a Sunnyvale, Calif.–based provider of high-bandwidth microserver. The deal is valued at approximately $334 million, including $281 million in cash. SeaMicro has raised more than $50 million in VC funding from firms that include CrossLink Capital, Draper Fisher Jurvetson and Khosla Ventures. www.amd.com

Carpenter Technology Corp. (NYSE: CRS) has completed its merger with Latrobe Specialty Metals Inc., a maker of specialty metals and alloys. As part of the deal, Latrobe sponsors The Watermill Group and Hicks Equity Partners received 8.1 million shares of Carpenter stock, currently valued at $415 million (valued at $558m when deal was first announced). www.cartech.com

General Mills has acquired FoodShouldTasteGood, a Needham Heights, Mass.-based maker of natural snack foods. No financial terms were disclosed. Sellers include Sherbrooke Capital.www.generalmills.com

Fresenius Medical Care has completed its previously-announced acquisition of Liberty Dialysis Holdings from Bain Capital and KRG Capital Partners for $1.7 billion (including $1 billion of assumed debt). www.fmcna.com

Time Warner Cable (NYSE: TWC) has completed its acquisition of Insight Communications, the nation's 10th-largest cable TV operator, for approximately $3 billion in cash. Sellers included The Carlyle Group, MidOcean Partners and Crestview Partners. www.myinsight.com

Komli Media, a Mumbai-based digital media network, has acquired Singapore-based Admax Network, a Southeastern Asia digital media network. No financial terms were disclosed. Komli has raised venture capital from Norwest Venture Partners, Nexus Venture Partners and Helion Venture Partners. Admax previously raised funding from Gramercy Private Equity.

Tata Communications of India is considering a bid for Britain's Cable & Wireless Worldwide, which could be worth more than $1.4 billion.
