CCMP Capital Advisors has agreed to acquire Ollie's Bargain Outlet, a Harrisburg, Penn.-based specialty retailer of brand-name closeout merchandise, from an affiliate of Apax Partners. No financial terms were disclosed. www.olliesbargainoutlet.com

Gemini Capital and White Wolf Capital have sponsored a recapitalization of Hilco Plastics Holdings LLC, a Grand Rapids, Mich.-based custom manufacturer of products that contain injection molded components. No financial terms were disclosed. BlueWater Partners managed the process. www.hilcotech.com

Hellman & Friedman has agreed to sell residential HVAC equipment maker Goodman Global to Daikin Industries (Tokyo: 6367) for around $3.7 billion. Hellman & Friedman acquired Goodman Global in late 2007 for $2.65 billion (including assumed debt). There had been talks of a sale to Daikin beginning in early 2011.
Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. plans to invest approximately $1.27 billion into troubled Japanese chipmaker Renesas Electronics Corp. (Tokyo: 6723). www.kkr.com
