Nimble Storage, a San Jose, Calif.-based provider of flash storage solutions, has raised $40.7 million in new VC funding. Accel Partners and Sequoia Capital co-led the round, and were joined by fellow return backers Lighspeed Venture Partners and Artis Capital. Nimble Storage now has raised $98 million in total VC funding. www.nimblestorage.com

Warby Parker, a New York-based eyeglasses maker, has raised nearly $37 million in new VC funding. General Catalyst Partners led the deal. Read more.

PeakColo, a Denver-based provider of infrastructure-as-a-service solutions for the enterprise, has raised $7.5 million in VC funding from Meritage Funds and Sweetwater Capital. www.peakcolo.com
