Aragon Pharmaceuticals Inc., a San Diego-based developer of therapies targeting hormone-driven cancers, has raised $50 million in Series D funding. VenBio led the round, and was joined by return backers Topspin Fund, Aisling Capital, OrbiMed Advisors and The Column Group. The company previously raised $33 million. www.aragonpharm.com

RairStor, a San Francisco–based provider of big data management software, has raised $12 million in Series C funding. Credit Suisse and Rogers Venture Partners were joined by return backers Doughty Hanson Technology Ventures, Storm Ventures and The Dow Chemical Company. www.rainstor.com

, a Seattle–based provider of a cloud-based digital marketing system for hotels, has raised $10 million in new funding co-led by Madrona Venture Group and travel/expense management companyConcurwww.buuteeq.com

, a big data analytics startup, has raised $4.3 million in VC funding. Accel Partners led the round, and was joined by X Seed Capital, Data Collective and individual angels. www.trifacta.com

Expect Labs
, a San Francisco-based developer of a voice and video calling app that can understand conversations in real-time, has raised $2.4 million in VC funding. Backers include KPG Ventures, IDG Ventures, Google Ventures, Greylock Partners, Bessemer Venture Partners, Quest Venture Partners and individual angels like Naval Ravikant, Gil Elbaz and Don Hutchison. www.expectlabs.com

DocTrackr, a Cambridge, Mass.-based developer of document security solutions, has raised $2 million in seed funding. Polaris Venture Partners and Atlas Venture co-led the round, and were joined by Common Angels. www.doctrackr.com

, a San Francisco-based platform that allows landlords and renters to manage their rentals online, has raised $1.5 million in seed funding. The Social+Capital Partnership led the round, and was joined by Google Ventures and individual angels. www.cozy.co
