Attivio, a Newton, Mass.-based provider of a unified information platform for enterprises, has raised $34 million in growth capital funding. Oak Investment Partners led the round, and was joined by return backers Tenth Avenue Holdings and Per-Olof Soderberg . www.attivio.com

Aspen Avionics, an Albuquerque, N.M.-based maker of instrumentation for general aircraft cockpits, has raised $12.8 million in new VC funding. Backers include Granite Ventures, EPIC Ventures, Fort Washington Capital Partners, Sun Mountain Capital, Signal Peak Ventures and the New Mexico Community Capital. www.aspenavionics.com

EcoFactor, a Redwood City, Calif.-based provider of residential energy management services, has raised $8 million in new VC funding. Aster Capital led the round, and was joined by Claremont Creek Ventures and RockPort Capital Partners. www.ecofactor.com

Frank & Oak, a Montreal-based personalized online clothing retailer for men, has raised US$5 million in Series A funding. Lightbank led the round, and was joined by Bertelsmann Digital Media Investment, Rho Canada Ventures and return backer Real Ventures. www.frankandoak.com

Switchfly Inc., a San Francisco-based SaaS provider of travel, loyalty, online payment and social technology solutions, has raised $2.8 million in new Series C funding. The company had announced a $15 million first close on the round back in March. Thayer Ventures led the new tranche, alongside return backers Azure Capital Partners, Canaan Partners and StarVest Partners. www.switchfly.com
