Message Bus, a Corte Madera, Calif.-based cloud-native application service for messaging across email and mobile channels, has raised $11 million in growth equity funding. North Bridge Venture Partners led the round, and was joined by True Ventures, Ignition Partners and individual angels.www.messagebus.com

GrabCAD, a Boston-based online community for mechanical engineers, has raised $8.15 million in Series B funding. Charles River Ventures led the round, and was joined by David Sacks (Yammer) and return backers Atlas Venture, NextView Ventures and Matrix Partners. www.grabcad.com

Secret Escapes
, a London-based flash sales site focused on luxury hotels and holidays, has raised £8 million in VC funding. Index Ventures led the round, and was joined by return backers Octopus Ventures and Atlas Venture. www.secretescapes.com

Branding Brand, a Pittsburgh-based mobile commerce platform for retailers, has raised $7.5 million in Series A funding. Insight Venture Partners led the round, and was joined by CRunchFund and Eastern Advisors. www.brandingbrand.com

UrbanSitter, a San Francisco-based matching service for parents and babysitters, has raised $6 million in Series A funding. Canaan Partners led the round, and was joined by First Round Capital, Menlo Ventures and Rustic Canyon Partners. www.urbansitter.com

Tvinci, an Israeli over-the-top television platform, has raised $4.5 million in new VC funding from Trellas Enterprises and return backers Kaedan Capital and Zohar Gilon. www.tvinci.com

Metacloud, a San Diego-based provider of OpenStack-based private cloud solutions, has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Storm Ventureswww.metacloud.com
