Apax Partners is in "final negotiations" to acquire the Cole Haan handbag and shoe brand from Nike Inc. (NYSE: NKE), according to Reuters. The deal would be valued at approximately $500 million. Rival bidders had included Berkshire Partners and TPG Capital. www.apax.com

Beecken Petty O'Keefe & Co. has acquired Southern Anesthesia and Surgical Inc., a West Columbia, S.C.–based distributor of pharmaceuticals and surgical supplies to oral health professionals who perform sedation-related dental and surgical procedures. No financial terms were disclosed, except that Golub Capital provided $35 million in debt and equity co-investment to support the acquisition. www.southernanesthesia.com

B&M Stores, a British discount retailer, has been put up for sale with an £850 million asking price, according to The Daily Telegraph. Suitors include Apax Partners, BC Partners, Cinven and KKR. Rothschild is managing the process. www.bmstores.co.uk

Bravofly, a European online travel agency, has raised €20 million in newprivate equity funding from firms like AXA Private Equity. Proceeds were used to acquire Spanish online travel company Rumbo. No specific financial terms of the acquisition were disclosed. www.bravofly.com

DISA Inc., a portfolio company of The Riverside Company, has acquired Midnite Air Corp., a Los Angeles-based provider of third-party transportation and logistics services. No financial terms were disclosed. Sellers include St. Cloud Capital. www.mnx.com

Dynamic Healthcare Services Inc., a portfolio company of GMH Ventures, has acquired Evanko Respiratory Inc., a Hazleton, Penn.-based distributor of respiratory and sleep equipment and mobility products. No financial terms were disclosed. www.gmh-ventures.com

Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan has agreed to acquire Heartland Dental, an Effingham, Ill.–based dental practice management company, from shareholders like CHS Capital Partners. The deal is valued at approximately $1.3 billion. Rival bidders reportedly had included Apax Partners, KKR and Madison Dearborn Partners. www.heartlanddentalcare.com

Platinum Equity has completed its previously-announced $1.24 billion acquisition of BWAY, an Atlanta-based packaging company, from Madison Dearborn Partners. www.bwaycorp.com

Sunrise Medical Inc., a Fresno, Calif.-based portfolio company of Vestar Capital Partners, has agreed to sell its global mobility and seating operations to Equistone Partners Europe. No financial terms were disclosed for the deal, which is expected to close by year-end. www.sunrisemedical.com

Vista Equity Partners has agreed to acquire the ADP Taxware business of Automated Data Processing Inc. (Nasdaq: ADP). No financial terms were disclosed. ADP Taxware provides automated solutions for sales, use and tax compliance. www.adp.com

Travel Leaders Group LLC. a Plymouth, Minn.-based provider of travel services, has agreed to acquire New York-based travel agency Protravel International Inc. No financial terms were disclosed. Travel Leaders Group is a portfolio company of One Equity Partners. www.protravelinc.com
