ABRY Partners has agreed to acquire Confie Seguros, a New York-based insurance distributor focused on Hispanic consumers, from Genstar Capital. No financial terms were disclosed, except that RBC Capital Markets and GE Capital provided debt financing commitments. Term Sheet previously reported on the deal, based on a regulatory filing. www.confieseguros.com

GP Investments has acquired a 30% stake in Brazilian sporting goods retailer Grupo SBF, for approximately $225 million. www.gp.com.br

Conduit Capital Partners has invested an undisclosed amount into the Tacna and Panamericana solar projects in southern Peru. The deal was done in partnership with Latin American development bank CAF. www.conduitcap.com

Parcom Capital has acquired GustoMSC, a Dutch designer of mobile offshore energy units, from listedSBM Offshore. The deal is valued at approximately $185 million. www.gustomsc.com

Thoma Bravo
 has acquired Crossbeam Systems Inc., a Boxborough, Mass.–based provider of network security solutions. No financial terms were disclosed. Crossbeam had raised over $25 million in VC funding from firms like Charles River Ventures, Commonwealth Capital Ventures, Boston University Tech Development Fund, Focus Ventures, Intel Capital, Matrix Partners, North Bridge Venture Partners and Tudor Growth Equity. www.crossbeam.com

WestView Capital Partners has sponsored a recap of Park Place Technologies, a Cleveland–based provider of third-party hardware maintenance services to small and medium enterprises. No financial terms were disclosed. www.wvcapital.com
