Akamai Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq: AKAM) has agreed to acquire Verivue, a Westford, Mass.-based provider of digital content delivery solutions. No pricing terms for the all-cash deal were disclosed. Verivue had raised over $85 million in VC funding from firms like Sigma Partners, Comcast Interactive Capital, Accel Partners, Arris Group, North Bridge Venture Partners, Matrix Partners and Spark Capital. www.verivue.com

Intel Corp. (Nasdaq: INTC) and Qualcomm Inc. (NasdaQ: QCOM) are in talks to jointly invest around $378 million into Japanese electronics maker Sharp Corp. (Tokyo: 6753), according to Reuters.www.sharp-world.com

Arlington Capital Partners has sold Chandler/May Inc. to Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) for an undisclosed amount. Chandler/May is a Huntsville, Ala.-based provider of mission-critical systems to the unmanned aerial systems industry. www.chandlermay.com
