OZForex, a foreign exchange provider owned by Macquarie Bank, has raised $70 million in new equity funding from The Carlyle Group and Accel Partners. The company is based in Australia, but recently launched a U.S. subsidiary. www.usforex.com

ICR Turbine Engine Corp., a Hampton, N.H.-based maker of turbine engines using ceramics, has raised $10 million in Series A funding led by New Venture Partnerswww.icrtec.com

Datadog, a New York-based IT monitoring startup, has raised $6.2 million in Series A funding co-led byIndex Ventures and RTP Ventureshttp://www.datadog.com

MabVax Therapeutics Inc., a San Diego-based developer of immunotherapies to prevent recurrent cancer, has closed on $5.25 million in the first tranche of its Series B funding. Numoda Capital Innovations led the round, and was joined by return backers Burrill & Co. and RTP Venture Fund.www.mabvax.com
