Endosense, a Swiss developer of force-sensing technology used in catheter ablation for the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias, has raised $40.3 million in Series C funding. NGN Capital led the round, and was joined by return backers Edmond de Rothschild Investment Partners, NeoMed Management, Gimv, VI Partners, Sectoral Asset Management, Ysios Capital Partners and Initiative Capital Romandie. www.endosense.com

TransMedics Inc., an Andover, Mass.-based developer of organ preservation technology, has raised $36 million in new VC funding. Abrams Capital led the round, and was joined by return backers Flagship Ventures, Hercules Technology Growth Capital and Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers. www.transmedics.com

Sumo Logic, a Mountain View, Calif.-based provider of log management and analytics solutions, has raised $30 million in Series C funding. Accel Partners led the round, and was joined by return backers Greylock Partners and Sutter Hill Ventures. www.sumologic.com

Everything.me (f.k.a. DoAT), an HTML5-based mobile app platform, has raised $25 million in Series C funding. Telefónica Digital led the round, and was joined by SingTel Innov8, Mozilla and return backers Draper Fisher Jurvetson, DFJTF, BRM Group and Horizons Ventures. www.everything.me
Edison Pharmaceuticals Inc., a Mountain View, Calif.-based developer of treatments for children with orphan mitochondrial diseases, has raised $20 million in Series F funding. Mitsui & Co. led the round. www.edisonpharma.com

TriReme Medical Inc., a Pleasanton, Calif.-based developer of percutaneous devices for the treatment of complex coronary and peripheral arterial disease, has raised $18 million in new VC funding led by Luminor Capital. www.trirememedical.com

GlySure Ltd., a UK-based developer of in-hospital continuous blood glucose monitoring, has raised $13.6 million in Series C funding. Backers include Amadeus Capital Partners, Chester Investments, Delta Partners, Morningside Ventures and Frank Bonsal Jr. www.glysure.com

Shubham Housing Development Finance Co., a provider of mortgages and home-improvement loans to low-income families in urban areas of India, has raised $4 million from Accion and Saama Capital. www.shubham.co

Lift, developer of a personal motivational mobile app, has raised in Series A funding. Spark Capital led the round, and was joined by SV Angel, RRE Ventures and individual angels like Tony Robbins. The company previously was seeded by Obvious Corp. www.lift.do

iSchool Campus, a Park City, Utah-based provider of collaborative whole-school learning environments, has raised $2 million in VC funding from Crocker Ventures. The entire round is expected to be $4 million. www.ischoolcampus.com

Bizible, a SaaS startup for local businesses that want to track the effectiveness and ROI of their marketing efforts, has raised $1.7 million in Series A funding. Madrona Venture Group led the round, and was joined by MS Capital and Seattle-area angels. www.bizible.com

Sopogy, a Honolulu-based developer of concentrating solar power technologies, has raised an undisclosed amount of Series E funding. Mitsui & Co. led the round, and were joined by Southern California Gas Co., 3M and return backers Kolohala Ventures and Enerdigm Ventures. www.sopogy.com
