The Blackstone Group has dropped out of the auction for Australian poultry producer Inghams Enterprises, according to the WSJ. It's unclear if China's New Hope Group remains in the process, which had been expected to garner upwards of A$1.4 billion. www.inghams.com.au

Charlesbank Capital Partners
and Webster Capital have agreed to acquire OneStopPlus, a plus-sized mail-order fashion business owned by France's PPR SA, for $525 million. The deal is expected to close in Q1 2013. www.charlesbank.com

Freeman Spogli & Co. is in talks to acquire MicroStar, a Greenwood Village, Colo.-based provider of keg management services to brewery clients and distributors, from Trilantic Capital Partners, according to LBO Wire. www.microstarkegs.com

General Atlantic
has invested approximately $201 million to acquire a minority stake in Brazilian brokerage XP Investimentos. Local press reports put the position at around 30 percent. www.ga.com

NewBay Media LLC
, a New York-based portfolio company of The Wicks Group of Companies, has acquired Intent Media Ltd., a UK–based provider of business media and events targeted to the entertainment, technology and leisure markets. Sellers include Matrix Partners and Redpoint Ventures. No financial terms were disclosed. The Jordan, Edmiston Group advised Intent on the deal. www.intentmedia.co.uk

Omega Environmental Technologies, a portfolio company of River Associates Investments, has acquired both Global Parts Distributors and Santech Industries from Global Temperature Control, a portfolio company of Owner Resource Group. No financial terms were disclosed. The combined company will be based in Irving, Texas, and provide automotive aftermarket air conditioning parts and radiators. One Equity Partners is among those bidding for a $300 million-plus stake in Turkish chemicals maker Akdeniz Kimya, according to Reuters. www.akdenizkimya.com

TA Associates has acquired Australian Satellite Communications Pty Ltd., an Australian satellite communications service provider. No financial terms were disclosed. ASC will be merged with SpeedCast, a Hong Kong-based company TA acquired in September. www.ta.com
