PPG Industries (NYSE: PPG) has agreed to acquire the North American architectural coatings business of AkzoNobel NV (Amsterdam: AKZA) for approximately $1.05 billion. www.ppg.com

Helinet Aviation Services, a Van Buys, Calif.-based flight services company, has acquired ShotoverCamera Systems, a New Zealand–based maker of a gyro-stabilized camera system for shooting aerial footage in ultra-HD. No financial terms were disclosed. www.helinet.com

Ferrer Freeman & Co. has sold Amerita Inc., an Irvine, Calif.–based provider of home and specialty infusion services, to PharMerica Corp. (NYSE: PMC). No financial terms were disclosed.www.ameritaiv.com

Fidelity National Information Services Inc. (NYSE: FIS) has agreed to repurchase approximately 5.7 million of its shares from Warburg Pincus, for approximately $200 million. The $35.03 per share price is a slight discount to yesterday's closing price of $35.54 per share. www.fisglobal.com

Warburg Pincus has agreed to sell Scotsman Industries, a Vernon Hills, Ill.–based maker of commercial ice machines, to Italy's ALI Group. No financial terms were disclosed. www.aligroup.it
