SR Labs, a New York-based provider of electronic trading solutions for the global financial services market, has raised $53 million in equity funding from Insight Venture Partnerswww.srtechlabs.com

FireEye Inc.
, a Milpitas, Calif.-based provider of cyber attack protection, has raised $50 million in new VC funding. Goldman Sachs was joined by return backers like Sequoia Capital, Norwest Venture Partners, Juniper Networks and Silicon Valley Bank. The company previously raised over $35 million from the aforementioned firms, plus DAG Ventures, JAFCO Ventures and In-Q-Tel. www.fireeye.com

Guavus Inc.
, a San Mateo, Calif.–based provider of provider of big data analytics solutions for communications service providers, has raised $30 million in new VC funding. Investor Growth Capitalled the round, and was joined by QuestMark Partners and return backers Artiman Ventures, Sofinnova Ventures and Intel Capital. www.guavus.com

Host Analytics
, a Redwood City, Calif.-based provider of cloud-based enterprise performance management solutions, has raised $17 million in Series D funding. Return backers included Advanced Technology Ventures, Trident Capital, StarVest Partners and Next World Capital. www.hostanalytics.com

NewLeaf Symbiotics Inc.
, a St. Louis-based developer of a symbiotic bacteria that can improve plant health and crop yield, has raised $7 million in new VC funding. Backers include Rockport Capital, Open Prairie Ventures, Pangaea Ventures and individual angels. www.newleafsym.com

Binary Event Network, a New York-based platform that lets users buy and sell sports event outcomes based on real-time information while watching live games, has raised an undisclosed amount of first-round funding from Guggenheim Partners, Cinnober Financial Technology and Broadhaven Capital Partners. www.benmarkets.com
