Emmi Solutions, a Chicago-based provider of patient engagement technology solutions to healthcare organizations, has raised an undisclosed amount of private equity financing from Primus Capital Funds. Aeris Partners served as placement agent. www.emmisolutions.com

Generali has received non-binding offers for its Swiss private bank BSI and for its U.S. reinsurance business, according to comments made by Generali CEO Mario Greco to Reuters. An Italian news report says that suitors include Apax Partners and Royal Bank of Canada. www.generali.com

Global Sugar Art, a Plattsburgh, N.Y.–based e-commerce provider of high quality baking and design supplies to cake and confectionary decorators, has raised an undisclosed amount of private equity funding from Aleutian Capital Partners. www.globalsugarart.com

Juggernaut Capital Partners has invested an undisclosed amount of private equity into DDP Holdings, a Tampa, Fla.–based provider of specialized teams for retail construction, resets and other projects. No financial terms were disclosed. DDP continues to be a portfolio company of Palm Beach Capital.

KarpReilly has acquired an undisclosed stake in Sprinkles Cupcakes, a Beverly Hills, Calif.-based operator of 11 retail bakeries. www.sprinkles.com
