Brookside Equity Partners has led a buyout of Hillsdale Furniture LLC, a Lexington, Ky.-based maker and importer of residential furniture, from Clearview Capital. No financial terms were disclosed for the deal, which included buyside participation from company management. www.hillsdalefurniture.com

Rexam PLC
 (LSE: REX) has completed the previously-announced $459 million sale of its cosmetics, toiletries and household care products unit to Sun Capital Partners. The deal was financed via a $650 million high-yield bond issuance that will partially be used for working capital and investments.www.suncappart.com

Cisco Systems (Nasdaq: CSCO) has agreed to sell its Linksys home networking unit to Belkin. No financial terms were disclosed, although prior news reports suggested that Cisco would receive "much less" than the $500 million it paid to acquire Linksys back in 2003. Belkin shareholders include Summit Partnerswww.cisco.com
