Axiom Global Inc., a San Francisco-based company that helps general counsel manage their workload more effectively, has raised $28 million in funding from Carrick Capital Partnerswww.axiomlaw.com

Urban Airship, a Portland, Or-based provider of mobile apps for raising brand awareness, has raised $25 million in Series D funding. August Capital led the round, and was joined by return backers Foundry Group, Intel Capital, True Ventures and Verizon. www.urbanairship.com

Livefyre, a San Francisco-based provider of social commenting and real-time applications, has raised $15 million in Series C funding. U.S. Venture Partners led the round, and was joined by return backers Greycroft Partners, Cue Ball, HillsVen Group and ff Venture Capital. www.livefyre.com

Sprinklr, a New York-based provider of social media management infrastructure for large enterprises, has raised $15 million in VC funding from Intel Capital and Battery Ventureswww.sprinklr.com

Osseon Therapeutics Inc., a Santa Rosa, Calif.-based developer of devices for the treatment of vertebral compression fractures, has raised $14 million in funding led by "a private investor." www.osseon.com
JIBE, a New York–based provider of SaaS solutions for improving the mobile and social hiring experience for job candidates and employers, has raised $10 million in Series B funding. Longworth Venture Partners led the round, and was joined by return backers Polaris Partners, DFJ Gotham, DFJ, Zelkova, Lerer Ventures and Thrive Capital. www.jibe.com

WSO2, a Mountain View, Calif.-based provider or open source middleware platforms for Web services and service oriented architecture projects, has raised $10 million in new VC funding. Toba Capital led the round, and was joined by Cisco Systems and Intel Capital. www.wso2.com

Bone Therapeutics, a Belgium-based developer of autologous cell therapy products for the treatment and regeneration of bone tissue, has raised €7.7 million in new VC funding. Société Régionale d'Investissement de Wallonie and Sambrinvest were joined by return backers Nausicaa Ventures, BAMS Angels Fund and Life Science Research Partners.

About.me, a San Francisco-based platform for creating individual profile pages, announced that it is spinning out of AOL – which acquired the company just two years ago. About.me also has raised $5.7 million in new VC funding. True Ventures led the round, and was joined by CrunchFund, Founder Collective, Google Ventures and SV Angel. AOL will retain an 8% equity stake. www.about.me

Think Big Analytics, a Mountain View, Calif.–based "big data as a service" startup, has raised $3 million in seed funding. WI Harper Group was joined by individual angels like Dan Scheinman.www.thinkbiganalytics.com

Upstream Commerce, an Israeli provider of pricing and assortment intelligence solutions for retailers, has raised $3 million in new VC funding. Backers include YL Ventures and Bright Capital.www.upstreamcommerce.com

iFood, a Brazilian mobile food ordering app, has raised $2.6 million in strategic funding from Movile.www.ifood.com.br

Little Pim Corp., a New York-based developer of foreign language learning solutions for young children, has raised $2 million in Series C funding led by Golden Seedswww.littlepim.com

PhishLabs, a Charleston, S.C.-based Internet security startup, has raised $1.2 million in Series A funding from backers like Tony Prince (ex-CEO of LURHQ). www.phishlabs.com

Cloudant, a Boston-based provider of globally distributed database-as-a-service solutions, has raised an undisclosed amount of strategic funding from Samsung Ventureswww.cloudant.com
