The Carlyle Group has completed its previously-announced acquisition of asset management firm TCW Group from Société Générale. No financial terms were disclosed. www.carlyle.com

Costa Group, an Australian fresh produce grower owned by Paine & Partners, has agreed to acquire local mushroom producer Adelaide Mushrooms. No financial terms were disclosed.www.painepartners.com

Eureka Growth Capital has acquired the Law School Publishing business of Thomson Reuters (NYSE: TRI). No financial terms were disclosed. The Eagan, Minn.-based business will be renamed West Academic Publishing. www.eurekagrowth.com

H.I.G. Capital has invested an undisclosed amount into St. Gilgen International School, an international day and boarding school for grades 4-12, located near Salzburg, Austria. This would be the first acquisition for Academos Group, a new H.I.G.-sponsored platform for "premium international schools around the world." www.higcapital.com

Ipreo, a New York-based provider of market intelligence and productivity solutions to capital markets and corporate professionals, has acquired Debtdomain, a London-based provider of web-based systems for loan syndication. No financial terms were disclosed. Ipreo is owned by Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co.www.Ipreo.com

Talos Energy LLC, a Houston-based oil and gas acquisition platform focused on opportunities along the Gulf Coast and Gulf of Mexico, has acquired Energy Resource Technology GOM Inc., the oil and has subsidiary of Helix Energy Solutions Group (NYSE: HLX). The deal was valued at $620 million. Talos is a portfolio company of Apollo Global Management and Riverstone Holdingswww.talosenergyllc.com
