Covenant Surgical Partners Inc., a Nashville, Tenn.-based owner and operator of ambulatory surgery centers, has raised $35 million in Series C funding, according to VentureWire. Return backers included DFW Capital, Pine Bridge Capital and Iroquois Capital Group. The company may keep the round open for an additional $3 million. www.covenantsurgicalpartners.com

Sailthru, a New York-based big data company focused on digital brand experiences and communications, has raised $19 million in Series B funding led by Benchmark Capital.www.sailthru.com

Snapchat, a multimedia messaging app whose messages disappear within seconds, has raised $13.5 million in VC funding led by Benchmark Capital. The NY Times reports the round came at a valuation of between $60 million and $70 million.

RepairPal, a San Francisco-based–based online source for auto maintenance and repair information, has raised $13 million in VC funding co-led by Cars.com and Castrol innoVentures.www.repairpal.com

Nomi, a retail customer analytics startup from ex-executives of Buddy Media and Salesforce.com, has raised $3 million in seed funding. First Round Capital led the round, and was joined by backers like Greycroft Partners, Forerunner Ventures and SV Angel. www.getnomi.com

MetGen, a Finland–based developer of industrial enzymes with applications in the pulp and paper, biofuels and biochemicals industries, has raised €2.2 million in VC funding. Sofinnova Green Seed Fund led the round, and was joined by Finnish Industry Investment and Finnvera. This represents the first investment for Sofinnova Green Seed Fund. www.metgen.fi

Jobber, an Edmonton-based provider of cloud-based software for field service companies, has raised C$500,000 from return backers Version One Ventures and Point Nine Capital. www.getjobber.com

Strand Life Sciences, an India-based developer of informatics products for the life sciences market, has raised an undisclosed amount of Series B funding from Burrill Life Sciences. No financial terms were disclosed for the round, which included a secondary buyout of Series A investors Sequoia Capital India and UTI Ventures. www.strandgenomics.com

Rightster, a provider of cloud-based video and media rights management software, has acquiredPreview Networks, a Danish provider of online preview content and reporting services to entertainment companies in Europe. No financial terms were disclosed. London-based Rightster has raised around $25 million in angel funding, and reportedly is in market with a $30 million Series C round.www.rightster.com
