Jounce Therapeutics Inc., a Cambridge, Mass.-based cancer immunotherapies startup, has raised $47 million in Series A funding from Third Rock Ventures. The company plans to develop immunotherapies that "harness the patient's immune system to seek out and attack cancerous cells and tumors."www.jouncetx.com

Elcelyx Therapeutics, a San Diego-based developer of drugs for diabetes and weight loss, has raised $20 million in Series C funding. GSM Fund led the round, and was joined by return backers Morgenthaler Ventures, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, and Technology Partners. www.Elcelyx.com

Paymill, a Munich-based online payments company incubated by Rocket Internet, has raised $5 million in new Series A funding from Blumberg Capital. The company previously raised €10 million from groups like Holtzbrinck Ventures and Sunstone Capital. www.paymill.com

Anunta Technology Management Services, a Mumbai-based platform for "application delivery-as-a-service," has raised an undisclosed amount of Series A funding from Bessemer Venture Partnerswww.anuntatech.com
