Berkshire Partners announced that it has acquired a majority stake in SRS Distribution Inc., a McKinney, Texas-based roofing supply company, from AEA Investors. No financial terms were disclosed for the deal, which was previously disclosed in an FTC filing. www.srsicorp.com

Blue Point Capital Partners has sponsored a recapitalization of Canadian flooring company Shnier-Gesco Ltd., for an undisclosed amount. www.shnier.ca

CVC Capital Partners is in talks to acquire McCarthy & Stone, a British builder of retirement homes, according to the Sunday Times. The deal could be worth around £500 million. The company is currently controlled by Lloyds Banking Group.

Fort Dearborn Co.
, an Elk Grove Village, Ill.-based portfolio company of KRG Capital Partners, has acquired the pain and coating labels business of Louisville, Ky.-based FetterGroup. No financial terms were disclosed. www.fortdearborn.com

Genstar Capital
 has acquired Acrisure, a Grand Rapids, Mich.–based retail insurance brokerage, fromGCP Capital Partners. No financial terms were disclosed. www.genstarcap.com

The Gores Group has acquired GE Healthcare Strategic Sourcing, a provider of electronic billing and electronic medical records outsourcing solutions, from GE Healthcare. No financial terms were disclosed. The company will renamed Meridian Medical Management. www.gores.com

PAI Partners has acquired French industrial supplies distributor IPH Group from Investcorp. No overall pricing terms were disclosed, but Investcorp announced that the deal generated more than €210 million in realizations for the firm. www.group-iph.com

Party City Holdings has agreed to acquire rival party supplies retailer iParty Corp. (NYSE AMEX: IPT) at an enterprise value of approximately $35 million, or $0.45 per share (200% premium to last Thursday's closing price). Thomas H. Lee Partners is majority shareholder of Party City, while Berkshire Partners holds a minority position. Sellers include Boston Millennia Partnerswww.partycity.com

Pitney Bowes Inc. (NYSE: PBI) has sold its International Mail Services (U.S. division) business to Lion Equity Partners. No financial terms were disclosed. www.imexglobalsolutions.com
