Centerbridge Partners and Corsair Capital are considering a joint bid for the 315 UK branches being sold by Royal Bank of Scotland, according to Sky News. www.rbs.com

IMS Health has acquired Appature, a Seattle-based provider of SaaS marketing solutions to the healthcare market. No financial terms were disclosed, but Geekwire reports a price-tag north of $100 million. Appature had raised $9.6 million in VC funding from Madrona Venture Group and Ignition Partners. Danbury, Conn.-based IMS was taken private in 2010 by TPG Capital, CPP Investment Board and Leonard Green & Partners. www.appature.com

The Blackstone Group and N+1 Private Equity are prepping a €185 million dividend recapitalization of Spanish metallic packaging company Mivisa, which they acquired in 2011 for $1.3 billion. www.mivisa.com
