BC Partners has offered to buy animal identification company Alleflex for $1.3 billion, from shareholders like Electra Partners and Intermediate Capital Group. www.allflexusa.com

Nord Anglia Education
, a portfolio company of Baring Private Equity Asia, has agreed to acquireWCL Group Ltd., an owner and operator of international schools in the U.S., Qatar and Spain. The deal was valued at $222 million. www.nordanglia.com

Platinum Equity has completed its acquisition of the U.S. and Canadian assets and operations ofCheckpointSystems Inc. (NYSE: CKP), a Thorofare, N.J.-based provider of loss prevention, inventory management and labeling solutions to the retail and apparel industry. No financial terms were disclosed. www.checkpointsystems.com
