View (f.k.a. Soladigm), a Milpitas, Calif.-based developer of electrochromic glass for buildings, has raised $60 million in fifth-round funding. Corning Inc. (NYSE: GLW) led the round, and was joined by return backers like Khosla Ventures and General Electric.  The company previously raised over $120 million. www.viewglass.com

CareCloud, a Miami-based provider of cloud-based practice management, HER and medical billing software, has raised $20 million in Series B funding. Tenaya Capital led the round, and was joined by return backers Intel Capital and Norwest Venture Partners. www.carecloud.com 

Medivo Inc., a New York-based health monitoring platform, has raised $15 million in Series B funding.Merck Global Health Innovation Fund led the round, and was joined by return backers Safeguard Scientifics and MentorTech Ventures. www.medivo.com 

Oculus VR, an Irvine, Calif.-based provider of virtual reality headsets for gaming, has raised $16 million in Series A funding co-led by Spark Capital and Matrix Partners, as first reported by Pando Daily.www.oculusvr.com

FiftyThree, a New York-based mobile app developer, has raised $15 million in Series A funding.Andreessen Horowitz led the round, and was joined by High Line Venture Partners, Thrive Capital, SV Angel and Jack Dorsey. www.fiftythree.com 

Optium Energy, a Seattle-based provider of optimization solutions for enterprise facilities, has raised $12.2 million in new VC funding. Navitas Capital led the round, and was joined by return backer Columbia Pacific Capital Management. www.optimumenergyco.com

Zetta.net, a Sunnyvale, Calif.-based provider of enterprise cloud storage solutions, has raised $8 million in new VC funding. The company previously raised more than $30 million from firms like Foundation Capital and Sigma Partners.  www.Zetta.net 

Vets First Choice, a Portland, Maine-based online veterinary partner-pharmacy and marketing service provider, has raised $6.5 million in new VC funding. HLM Venture Partners led the round, and was joined by return backers Polaris Partners, Borealis Ventures, Harbor Light Capital and Black Point Group. www.vetsfirstchoice.com

CloudByte, a Campbell, Calif.-based provider of solutions for shared storage environments, has raised $4 million in Series B funding. Fidelity Growth Partners India led the round, and was joined by Nexus Venture Partners and Kae Capital. www.cloudbyte.com 

Parakweet Inc., a San Francisco-based provider of product recommendations to consumers and social media analytics and metadata to media companies, has raised $2 million in first-round funding. Backers include Scott Banister, Alan Braverman (co-founder of Yammer and Eventbrite) and David Jeske (ex-director of engineering at Google). www.parakweet.com 

Trumaker, a made-to-measure men's casual clothing startup, has raised $1.9 million in first-round funding. Backers include Venrock, RRE Ventures, Eniac Ventures and individual angels. www.trumaker.com
