The Blackstone Group and Temasek Holdings are in separate talks to invest approximately $200 million into Shiram Ventures, the non-financial services unit of India's Shriram Group, according to Reuters. www.blackstone.com

Lazada, an online shopping mall created by the Samwer brothers' Rocket Internet, has raised $100 million in new equity funding. Verlinvest (Belgium) led the round, and was joined by return backers Holtzbrinck Ventures, Kinnevik, Summit Partners and Tengelmann Group. www.lazada.com

Leonard Green & Partners is in advanced talks to acquire United States Infrastructure Corp. fromOMERS Private Equity for between $700 million and $800 million, according to Reuters. USIC is an Indianapolis-based provider of ub-surface utility infrastructure locating and marketing services.www.clsltd.com

Zinc Ahead, a UK–based provider of provider of marketing compliance solutions for the life sciences industry, has raised an undisclosed amount of growth equity funding from Accel-KKRwww.zinc-ahead.com
