BackOps, a San Francisco-based back office as a subscription service platform, has raised $7 million in Series A funding. Sherpa Ventures and e.ventures co-led the round, and were joined by Google Ventures and returning seed backers CrunchFund and Mark Pincus. www.backops.com

Breakthrough, a Redwood City, Calif.-based online platform for mental health therapy, has raised $5 million in Series A funding. The Social+Capital Partnership led the round, and was joined by First Round Capital and Great Oaks Venture Capital. www.breakthrough.com

FreedomPop, a Los Angeles–based freemium wireless service provider, has raised $5 million in Series A-1 funding from return backers DCM and Mangrove Capital Partnerswww.freedompop.com
