FORTUNE -- Arthur Johnson has stepped down as chief operating officer of Cisco's WebEx group, Fortune has learned. His next stop is venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz, where he will be an operating partner focused on corporate development.
Johnson had joined Cisco (CSCO) in 2010, before which he held business development roles with both Rocket Lawyer and Intuit (INTU). At Intuit, his team was responsible for such acquisitions as PayCycle and Mint.
An Andreessen Horowitz spokeswoman says that the firm is "thrilled" to have him join.
