FORTUNE -- Serial entrepreneur Auren Hoffman is no longer a venture partner with Founders Fund, according to his LinkedIn profile. He also is no longer listed on the Founders Fund website.

Hoffman joined the venture capital firm in late 2011, with plans to continue serving as CEO of online personalization startup Rapleaf (whose investors included Founders Fund). He later would transition into a chairmanship role so that he could become CEO of a data onboarding spinout called LiveRamp, which raised separate venture capital.

It's unclear if Hoffman ever did deals while with Founders Fund, although his angel investment portfolio includes Blip.tv, Klout and Practice Fusion.

"Auren worked with us for a year, an engagement that was temporary and that wrapped up at the end of 2012," emailed a Founders Fund spokeswoman. She did not respond to a follow-up question about whether the position was initially intended to be temporary.

Hoffman did not respond to a request for comment.

In addition to Rapleaf and LiveRamp, Hoffman is a non-employee co-founder of both BrightRoll and ReTargeter. He also founded and sold three other Internet companies before the age of 30: BridgePath, GetRelevant and Kyber Systems.
